Monster Hunter World Has Sold 18.6 Million Units, Monster Hunter Rise Sells 11.7 Million

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak are still at +10 million and +5 million sales since launch.

In addition to revealing updated sales numbers for several Resident Evil titles, Capcom’s Platinum Titles list also showcased lifetime sales for Monster Hunter World. It’s still the publisher’s best-selling title of all time and has sold 18.6 million units on all platforms as of December 31st, 2022. The last major milestone was 18.3 million sold as of June 30th, 2022.

Monster Hunter Rise, launched in March 2021, is no slouch either. Capcom’s second best-selling title has sold 11.7 million units, up from 10.3 million in June. The figure is probably higher now, thanks to the release of the Xbox and PlayStation versions last month.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is still at over ten million units sold, while Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has sold over five million. The latter will receive its next big Title Update, with more details coming later today at 3 PM PT. Stay tuned in the meantime.
