Nexon’s Project DW is Officially Called Dungeon and Fighter: ARAD

The open-world action RPG is in development for consoles, PC, and mobile and will be exhibited at G-STAR 2024 in November.

Remember when Nexon announced a new open-world action RPG called Project DW? Based on the Dungeon and Fighter franchise, it now has an official title – Dungeon and Fighter: ARAD. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Though Nexon didn’t provide any further details on its premise, it did confirm that the title is set on the Arad Continent and features a “diverse cast of characters.” Arad was supposedly created by the Great Mage Myre and used to be in contact with Empyrean through the Sky Tower before Bakal, the King of Dragons, appeared.

The action RPG may be set during this period, thus granting a glimpse into the past. Either way, it will be exhibited during G-Star 2024 from November 14th to 17th in South Korea, so we’ll learn more in just a few weeks.

Dungeon and Fighter: ARAD doesn’t have a release date, but it’s in development for consoles, PC, and mobile devices. Stay tuned for more details, and check out the opening cinematic for The First Berserker: Khazan, Nexon’s other action RPG, which launches in early 2025.
