The First Berserker Khazan_03

Before this year’s G-STAR 2024, Nexon and Neople have revealed the opening cinematic for The First Berserker: Khazan. The Souls-like action RPG launches next year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, focusing on the titular Khazan, a disgraced general of the Pell Los Empire who fights for revenge. Check it out below.

The trailer sees Khazan battling near-endless hordes of dragon enemies. Even in victory, however, he’s overcome by the Blade Phantom, a spirit attempting to control his body. Of course, it’s also responsible for returning him from the brink of death, so time will tell how their relationship pans out. Elsewhere, someone grieves a loss before we see their destructive handiwork. Another enemy that Khazan will have to overcome? Time will tell.

The First Berserker: Khazan will be available in early 2025. Check out our impressions from the beta encompassing the first three story chapters here. You can also learn more about the lore and characters here.
