Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Announced, Releasing This Fall for Consoles and PC

The follow-up to the 2021 platform fighter will feature a new campaign and characters, cross-play, visual improvements and more.

Ludosity and Fair Play Labs have announced Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, a sequel to their 2021 platform fighter starring famous Nickelodeon characters. It will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch this Fall. Check out the first trailer below.

In addition to more characters, like newcomer Jimmy Neutron, there are new stages, mini-games and modes. Visual improvements in both characters and levels are apparent, and the jump in fidelity is pretty impressive. Each character is also getting voice acting, and all platforms will benefit from cross-platform play.

Powerful moves called Supers are also being added to all modes. There’s also a new campaign with the Nickelodeon universe threatened by multi-billionaire Vlad Plasmium, the main villain from the Danny Phantom series. It will feature roguelike mechanics, but players can also look forward to a new Arcade Mode and Boss Rush.

Even if the first game didn’t make a huge splash, it’s an opportunity for the sequel, especially with MultiVersus’ open ending and the full launch happening next year. Stay tuned for more details and a release date announcement in the coming months.
