Since its rough launch in 2016, Hello Games has gone above and beyond when it comes to improving No Man’s Sky. In a recent blog post, the developer looked back on over 10 major updates it had released thus far. These include the recent Living Ships, which let players grow their own ships, and Exo-Mech, which provided a giant mech for roaming, mining and survival.
It’s all well and good but Hello Games isn’t done yet. “In addition to [past] content updates, we are working up some more ambitious additions to the universe, and have so much more planned for 2020 for us to feel excited about.” What this could be remains to be seen but given all the strange things made possible thus far, the sky’s the limit (no pun intended) for this game.
No Man’s Sky is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The entire game is also playable in VR at no additional cost and actually works quite well. Hello Games is also busy developing an atmospheric adventure game called The Last Campfire which is out this Summer for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. You can check out gameplay for that here.
