A new roadmap confirms additional outfits, Boss Rush, and new challenges, with an untitled story DLC arriving later this year.

After promising free content and new modes for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in the coming months, Ubisoft has confirmed three upcoming updates and story DLC. The first update, Warrior’s Path, arrives on March 20th and adds permadeath and speedrunning modes. Protagonist Sargon will also receive some new outfits.

The Spring 2024 update, Boss Attack, will add Boss Rush alongside other new outfits. Summer 2024 sees the addition of the Divine Trials, described as “new combat, platform and puzzle challenges.” There will also be new amulets, outfits and more. Finally, the story DLC (which appears to be paid) will launch later this year, with more details coming later.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. You can check out our review here, where we gave it 9 out of 10. Despite extensive critical praise, the Metroidvania title has allegedly had only 300,000 players as of January 30th.
