Ubisoft Montpelier’s Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown launched worldwide yesterday for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. A new accolades trailer highlighting some of the praise received from critics. Check it out below.

Instead of a 3D action-adventure like The Sands of Time trilogy, The Lost Crown is a side-scrolling Metroidvania title. As Sargon, players journey across several dangerous locations to locate the kidnapped Prince Ghassan. He’s armed with dual blades and a bow but also gains access to time manipulation. In addition to mythological foes, you’ll battle bosses like other Immortals and giant beasts.

Check out our review for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, where we award it a 9 out of 10 for the engaging narrative, level design, combat, progression and soundtrack. You can also check out the free demo (though progress doesn’t carry over) and an official tips video, which discusses upgrades, tutorials and more.
