Resident Evil Village is likely going to be quite a meaty game, supposedly with a great amount of emphasis on exploration, and runtime that will be much longer than Resident Evil 7. While that doesn’t necessarily have to mean a larger file size for the game, it seems like that does seem to be the case here.
As per the game’s Microsoft Store listing, Resident Evil Village will have file size of 35 GB on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Meanwhile, Resident Evil Re:Verse – the multiplayer game that will be free for anyone who purchases Village – is listed as having a file size of 15 GB, with the total coming up to 50 GB.
Resident Evil Village launches for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 7. Capcom haven’t yet announced a release date for Resident Evil Re:Verse. A demo of Village is currently available for PS5, but Capcom have said that a second demo will be releasing for all platforms this Spring.
