S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl’s development has hit its fair share of stumbling blocks over the last year, with Ukraine-based developer GSC Game World having to contend with Russia’s invasion of the nation in the midst of production, but the highly-anticipated open world shooter seems to have continued making good progress behind the scenes in recent months.
After having formally resumed development in May, GSC Game World has previously confirmed that the game will be out in 2023, and has now shared another look at it in a new trailer. Packing in plenty of glimpses of both gameplay and cutscenes, the trailer continues to show the game in a promising light, showing off its gorgeous visuals, its massive open world, and its promising blend of action and horror gameplay. Check it out below, along with several new screenshots.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chronobyl will launch for Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2023, supposedly by June. The game will also launch day and date for Game Pass.
