Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Returnal Are Both Coming to PC This Summer – Rumour

New details and screenshots on the PC ports of the two PlayStation exclusives have also allegedly leaked, lending further credence to the rumour.

It’s abundantly clear at this point that Sony is going to keep doubling down on its recent attempts to expand in the PC space, and considering how successful those attempts have been, it’s not hard to see why. At this moment, the only upcoming release that Sony has confirmed for the platform of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, though it seems the company has two more big games planned for the coming months as well.

Both Sackboy: A Big Adventure and (more recently) Returnal have been leaked for PC releases, thanks to both, SteamDB listings as well as mentions of both games coming to the platform in last year’s GeForce Now leak. Now, another leaker is claiming that both games are headed to the platform in the near future.

Over on Reddit, user glockpopp recently made a thread in which they claim that Sackboy: A Big Adventure will launch for PC after the aforementioned Uncharted, and that it will have ray-traced shadows, ambient occlusion and lighting, support for Nvidia’s DLSS, and full support for the DualSense. The PC port has apparently been done since last year.

Interestingly, Reddit moderators are corroborating what the leaker says, and have said that they have been provided assets by the leaker that verify their claims.

On top of that, another user – EmpressOfSony – responded to the thread and provided leaked images of the PC versions of both Sackboy and Returnal, showing menu screens and options for both games. In the comment, they also seem to imply that both games will launch for PC this Summer, saying, “Happy Summer, boys and girls.”

The original leaker also responded to the aforementioned comment, seemingly corroborating its claims, but those comments have since been deleted.

Either way, if these two ports are indeed headed for PC in the coming months, it probably won’t be long before official announcements are made. Sony recently said it’s expecting to make $300 million in revenue from sales on PC this fiscal year, which would also suggest that they’re expecting a number of new releases.

Stay tuned for more updates.
