It’s been a couple of years since Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 was announced, with Microsoft having taken the stage at The Game Awards in December 2019 to unveil Ninja Theory’s highly anticipated sequel. Updates on the game have been scant since then, but it’s possible that could change very soon.
In the recent GamesBeat Decides podcast, journalist Jeff Grubb claimed that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will be present at The Game Awards, which are scheduled for December 9. Grubb has previously stated the same, which has been corroborated by other insiders as well, and Grubb says in the recent podcast that with him not having heard anything to the contrary, he still believes that the action-adventure title is going to be showcased at the event.
Of course, it remains to be seen how extensive the game’s showing will be, if there is going to be one, especially with previous reports having suggested that the game won’t be out until at least 2023. Either way, we should find out soon enough, so stay tuned for more updates.
Whenever it launches, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will be available on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
