Includes features like Rewind, Reply and Save/Load along with a Music Player, Encyclopedia and ROM Region for playing different versions.

During the recent Nintendo Direct, Konami announced that Castlevania Advance Collection would be out today. The compilation includes Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow from the Game Boy Advance era along with Castlevania: Dracula X.
If newly leaked details are anything to go by, the currently unannounced collection could include another game on top of the GBA trilogy.

Rumours of a Castlevania Advance Collection have been doing the rounds of late, with a compilation of (presumably) the series’ three Game Boy Advance titles having been rated first in Australia, then in Korea, and most recently in Taiwan. That Taiwanese rating for the collection, in fact, was recently updated with additional details as well, as spotted by Gematsu.

As you’d expect the listing mentions that the collection will include the three Game Boy Advance Castlevania titles- namely, Castlevania: Circle of Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Interestingly enough, however, the listing says that the collection will also include Castlavnia: Dracula X, which launched for the SNES back in 1995. Meanwhile, the listing will also supposedly have some new features, including a Rewind function. Key art for the release is also included in the listing, which you can check out below.

Of course, this is still yet to be officially announced, but at this point, it’s only a matter of time. A Nintendo Direct presentation is scheduled for later today, and it’s quite likely that we might end up seeing Castlevania Advance Collection there.

The as-of-yet unannounced collection of Castlevania's Game Boy Advance entries has previously been rated in Australia and South Korea as well.

Some of the best Castlevania games to date came out when the series was focused on Nintendo’s handhelds in the 2000s, with the trilogy of games on the Game Boy Advance in particular having legions of fans swearing by them to this day. Recent developments have suggested that those games could be coming back soon, and we have some more fuel to add to the fire here.

As spotted by Gemtasu, Castlevania Advance Collection has been rated for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in Taiwan by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee. The listing seems to have been taken down since then, but you can view a screenshot of it below.

This isn’t the first time this unannounced collection’s name has emerged in recent days. Castlevania Advance Collection was first rated in Australia in June, with M2 mentioned as its developer. Shortly afterward, the collection was rated in Korea as well.

Konami has a stream scheduled for TGS 2021 later this month, so it’s possible that we hear something about this then. Until then, stay tuned for more updates.

The listing shows that M2 is developing the collection, which will likely contain the three Game Boy Advance Castlevania titles, and maybe more.

A Castlevania Advance Collection has been rated in Australia. The news appeared on the Australia Classification Board’s website and was first spotted by Twitter user Nibel. According to the website, the game’s year of production is listed as 2021; the game is being developed by M2, a developer well-known for its fantastic work on remastered collections, most recently on the excellent Mega Man X Legacy Collection, Castlevania Anniversary Collection, and the Contra Anniversary Collection.

There’s no word on what games will be included in the collection, but the ratings board has classified as a M-rated release and there will be both Japanese and English language support. The title of the collection seems to imply that it will collect the Game Boy Advance Castlevania games. Three Castlevania titles release on the Game Boy Advance: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. All three were well-received.

If Konami wants to put more than three games into the collection, they could also add DS titles Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, and Calstlevania: Order of Ecclessia, but it might be harder to port the DS games to modern platforms given that the games were designed around having two screens.
