Terraria Coming to Nintendo Switch on June 27th

Pipeworks Studios is porting the hit side-scrolling sandbox title to Switch.

After supporting it for many years and announcing another big update, Re-Logic’s Terraria is coming to Nintendo Switch. It’s not a long wait either – the side-scrolling sandbox title is out on June 27th for Switch players. Pricing is yet to be confirmed.

Pipeworks Studios, who also ported the game to PS4 and Xbox One, are in charge of the Switch version. Along with its numerous updates, Switch players will also be in line for Journey’s End, the penultimate “final” update for Terraria. Along with a bestiary and improved world generation, it also brings 800 new items for fans to play with.

Quality of life improvements and even a gold mini-game will be added as well. For now, Journey’s End is planned for release in 2019, though the developer will be taking its time. If you haven’t played Terraria, then you’re in luck – the game is currently on sale in the latest Steam Summer Sale for a measly $5.
