Daedalic Entertainment’s The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has gone gold ahead of its release next month. A new trailer is available, adding to the hype and confirming that pre-orders are now available. Check it out below.
On top of the $59.99 Standard Edition, there’s also the Precious Edition, which retails for $69.99 and includes all kinds of goodies with the base game. The Lore Compendium DLC offers information on Middle-earth’s history while expanding on the core cast, locations and events. The Art Exhibition contains over 100 original sketches and “development secrets,” while the original soundtrack is available separately.
Sindarin VO DLC is also included, which adds Elvish voice-acting. It presumably sees the Elves speaking in their native tongue instead of English (or your language of choice). Regardless, it adds to the authenticity.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum launches on May 25th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC, while the Nintendo Switch version arrives later. Head here for more extensive gameplay.
