Bleeding Edge Gets 11 Minutes Of Frantic Off-Screen Gameplay

Get a look at how Ninja Theory's multiplayer title plays.

When Ninja Theory’s latest game, Bleeding Edge, was revealed at E3, it’s probably fair to say it’s not exactly what many expected. Though the game had apparently been in development for good while, the developer had made their name with single player action games like Hellblade and DmC: Devil May Cry. Well, it may not be what you expected, but now we get a look at the frantic gameplay.

Billed as a 4v4 team shooter, the game was playable at Gamecom. Though no official clean footage was released, streamer Arekkz got a chance to film and commentate a full match played by the game’s Character Artist off screen. They start by playing Gizmo, who is a more aggressive action based character who uses a mini merch special, then switch to a more support based character named Kulev, who specializes in evading and can passively heal allies during the fight.

Bleeding Edge is slated to release for Xbox One and PC, though no time frame has been set. While the game is, as of now, only multiplayer you can read through here for some potential ideas the developer has for single player content.
