Unfortunately for Ninja Theory, its announcement of Bleeding Edge was spoiled due to the trailer being leaked. Still, you can see the official trailer for the upcoming brawler in much better quality below. There will be a PC technical alpha test on June 27th for those interested in going hands-on with it.

Taking place in a post-apocalyptic future of sorts, Bleeding Edge is a multiplayer combat title. Two teams of four players will duke it out with a variety of weapons, from ranged to close combat. There are even environmental hazards that can be used to obliterate foes. It’s all very bizarre and almost Mad Max-esque in style.

How does Bleeding Edge differ from the likes of Ubisoft’s For Honor, another multiplayer-focused combat title that’s been around longer? That remains to be seen. However, with Ninja Theory’s stellar experience on titles like Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and whatnot, it should be able to provide satisfying combat if nothing else.
