Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Receives New Story Trailer Ahead of Launch

A dramatic new trailer sets up the scene for the upcoming first person shooter's single player campaign. The game is out later this month.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be out later this month, and its marketing continues to gather momentum in the lead-up to that launch. Activision has released new trailer for the first person shooter that focuses on its campaign, offering glimpses of several characters, areas, set pieces, and shootouts. If you have any familiarity with the series, the trailer is pretty much par for the course, though the game’s visual fidelity continues to impress. Check it out below.

On the multiplayer front, developer Infinity Ward has detailed a number of significant improvements and additions, including Raids, new third person mode, Gunsmith 2.0 for expanded weapon upgrades and customization, and much more.
