Plenty of Destiny 2 leaks have been taking place over the days, mostly due to images datamined from Bungie’s latest update for Season of Opulence. However, the shared world shooter seems to be coming to Google Stadia as well, as revealed by none other than Kotaku’s Jason Schreier. Schreier confirmed that cross-save was happening and would be announced during Bungie’s livestream today.
There’s a catch though. Cross-save will support Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia, but PS4 is still unknown. Two sources confirmed that cross-save would be announced during today’s livestream. However, two others said they were unsure about PS4 being included. More interesting is the Google Stadia bit – five sources stated that Destiny 2 would be one of the games available on the platform.
Other big games, like Ghost Recon Breakpoint, will also be announced, but this is pretty huge. Imagine playing Destiny 2 on Google Chrome and seamlessly moving to the TV, all thanks to cloud-based computing. Google’s Stadia Connect takes place today at 9 AM PT, while Bungie’s livestream is at 10 AM PT, so stay tuned for more details.
