The next few days will be defined by a string of events and showcases, bringing announcements and updates from a number of major companies. Capcom recently confirmed that it would be in that group as well, having announced another edition of its Capcom Showcase for June 12, with the stream set to be roughly 36 minutes long. What exactly can we expect to see from it though?
Courtesy of an update to the showcase’s official page, Capcom has provided some brief details on a few of the games that will be taking the spotlight during the event, with a few games explicitly mentioned in the “featured titles” section for the showcase.
The biggest among those that’ll draw the most eyes is Dragon’s Dogma 2, which showed off an impressive gameplay debut at the recent PlayStation Showcase, with additional details on the single player action RPG also being unveiled at the same time. How much more will Capcom have to show at its own event though, and could we perhaps see a release window announcement?
Meanwhile, Capcom has also confirmed that Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, which is due out later this month for all platforms, and Exoprimal, which launches next month, will also be present at the upcoming event.
Leaks have consistently claimed that the company has DLC in the works for Resident Evil 4’s recent remake, including free new content for The Mercenaries, and paid campaign focused on Ada Wong in the form of Separate Ways, while a PS VR2 mode is also confirmed to be in development. Whether or not any of these get any screentime at the upcoming Capcom Showcase, however, remains to be seen.
