The Monster Hunter series has sold 94 million units, while the Mega Man franchise tops 40 million sales, and Devil May Cry hits 29 million.
The single player open world action RPG recently debuted its gameplay, but it will have more to show off at the imminent Capcom Showcase.
Capcom is promising "an adventure so unique you will feel as if accompanied by other players while on your own adventure."
Insider AestheticGamer says it's safe to assume that "most Capcom games" that aren't ports, remasters or titles using a different engine "will be using RE Engine."
