Capcom has launched a new website celebrating the 10th anniversary for its open world RPG Dragon’s Dogma. While the presence of this website is far from evidence of a new Dragon’s Dogma game, the fact that Capcom is celebrating the game could potentially mean that there is something in the works.
Along with a video celebrating the game’s 10th anniversary, the Dragon’s Dogma website also has a message from the original game’s director, Hideaki Itsuno.
“Dragon’s Dogma, first released in 2012, is celebrating its 10th anniversary!” says the message. “Thank you, Arisen, for taking up arms and braving through the impossible challenges laid ahead of you. We are forever grateful for your support throughout the years and hope you will join us in this momentous celebration of Dragon’s Dogma!”
The last we heard about Dragon’s Dogma were rumblings that Itsuno is working on a sequel to the game. Capcom is yet to make an official announcement for Dragon’s Dogma 2, however, but over the last 5 years, the company has been diligent in making Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen available on just about every platform available.
Hideaki Itsuno’s last major release was Devil May Cry 5, and rumours, including the Capcom leaks from 2020, indicate that his next project is likely Dragon’s Dogma 2, presumably developed using the RE Engine.
