Announced way back in 2018, Dying Light 2 caught the attention of the masses with its promising debut, but things haven’t panned out in the best way possible, with multiple delays, reports of troubled development cycle, and more issues on top of all that. Earlier this year, developer Techland provided a brief yet vague update for the game, in which they mentioned 2021 launch window for the title, and with an announcement of some sort primed for later today, it seems the game’s release date has been leaked.
As spotted by Wccftech, ads for the game have going up on several websites all over the internet, including Twitch, and these ads claim that Dying Light 2 is indeed going to launch in 2021. Right at the tail end, apparently, with the ads mentioning a December 7 launch date.
Dying Light 2 will be launching for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. While Techland are promising properly optimized experience on last-gen consoles, several graphical enhancements for the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 are also confirmed.
