Forza Horizon 5 is Getting Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR 2, and Ray Tracing Support on November 8th

Ray tracing will have two presets - Ultra and Extreme - with the latter adding full-resolution reflections in ForzaVista, Free Roam, and Races.

Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 5 is getting a pretty significant new update for PC on November 8th, which adds support for Nvidia DLSS Super Resolution and AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution 2. DirectX Raytracing is also being added with the Ultra and Extreme presets.

FidelityFX Super Resolution 2 can provide a 4K rendered image from a 1080p frame buffer in Performance Mode and is available for AMD, Nvidia, and Intel GPUs. DLSS Super Resolution is exclusive to Nvidia RTX cards and performs the same function but also improves frame rates at higher resolutions. A native-resolution image also receives high-quality anti-aliasing courtesy of DLAA.

For ray tracing, the Extreme setting is the best when rendering full-resolution reflections in ForzaVista and Free+Races. Photo Mode also includes full-resolution reflections but includes AI cars in this as well. For more details and the Ideal Specifications for ray tracing, check out the images below.
