Forza Horizon 5 is the sort of game that you can just play endlessly, but of course, if you have been playing it endlessly and are running out of things to do, you’re obviously going to be on the lookout for new content. We got some of that earlier this year with the open world racer’s first expansion, Hot Wheelsand thankfully, more is on the way as well.

During its most recent Forza Monthly stream, developer Playground Games confirmed that it’s working on Forza Horizon 5’s second DLC. While details on it are currently scant, the developer says more concrete information will be arriving sometime in early 2023.

“We’re hard at work on the second expansion of Forza Horizon 5,” the developer said (via @klobrille on Twitter). “You can expect to see it in early 2023. We’ll have more to share after we enter the new year.”

Of course, following up on a new title’s launch with two major expansions alongside several smaller DLC packs has been the pattern that the Forza Horizon series has generally followed with previous releases, so this doesn’t come as a huge surprise.

Forza Horizon 5 is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. As of June, the game has amassed over 20 million players. Meanwhile, the aforementioned Hot Wheels expansion had been played by over a million players within a couple of weeks of its launch.
