There isn’t long left until the launch of Hogwarts Legacy, but right ahead of the milestone, it seems several new details on the upcoming open world action RPG have emerged ahead of time. The game’s official artbook seems to have leaked, revealing new information on its story and gameplay.
As per the leak, Hogwarts Legacy’s main story will take players on different paths depending on which House they pick, which will entail changes to the locations players visit and how the story unfolds, though all four paths will end at the same point. Different Houses also allegedly have unique side questlines dedicated to them, though the leaker claims that isn’t the case for Ravenclaw.
Several other gameplay details are also touched on, including side quests, boss fights, learning and unlocking new spells, puzzles, and more, while information on the game’s story, characters (including the extent of Phineas Nigellus Black’s role), and locations that were cut during development (and may return as DLC) is also touched on. There are some spoilers in there, so we won’t be covering those details here, but you can read full summary of the leak over on Reddit.
The leak also claims that Hogwarts Legacy’s main story will be roughly 35 hours long, though that will be doubled for those going for 100% completion. Read more on that through here.
Hogwarts Legacy launches on on February 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will release for PS4 and Xbox One on April 4, and for the Nintendo Switch on July 25. You can check out its PC requirements through here, and get more details on its graphics modes on current-gen consoles through here.
