Hogwarts Legacy Trailer Expected to Drop “Very Soon” – Rumor

The action RPG was initially slated to release this year but faced a delay into 2022. It's currently suggested to release after April 2022.

Portkey Games’ Hogwarts Legacy has been in rather quiet development since its delay was announced earlier this year. Other new details that have since been revealed include a suggested release after April 2022, transgender options reportedly included with its character creator and Sumo Digital’s involvement in development. But it seems a new trailer could be coming soon.

AccNGT, who leaked images for Quantic Dream’s Star Wars Eclipse before its official announcement and also reported on Grand Theft Auto 6’s rumored “chaotic” development, tweeted about how “things got moving” for Hogwarts Legacy today. “I’m expecting the trailer very soon.” How soon is unknown (perhaps at the rumored upcoming PlayStation event) but perhaps it will offer our first real look at gameplay along with providing an official release window.

Hogwarts Legacy is currently slated for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. It’s been fairly controversial since the initial reveal due primarily to the views of Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling but WB Games and Portkey Games confirmed that she’s not directly involved in development. Take that for what you will and stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
