Marvel’s Avengers Will Receive Its First Public Gameplay Demonstration At San Diego Comic-Con

However, the gameplay reveal will be shown to attendees only.

Though it was finally officially unveiled at E3 2019, Marvel’s Avengers is still a game we need to know a lot more about. Its E3 reveal received mixed responses from critics and audiences alike, and the general consensus seems to be that we need to see a lot more of actual gameplay footage from the game to be sold (or not) on what Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal, and Square Enix are trying to do with this project.

That gameplay reveal will be coming soon. Square Enix recently sent out a press release, confirming its plans for the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con, where on July 18, at 1:30 PM local time in Hall H, a panel for Avengers will be held, with Shaun Escayg of Crystal Dynamics, creative director of the project, in attendance, alongside the performing cast of the game. The description for the panel confirms that the presentation “will include new information and the first public gameplay reveal”. But there’s a catch- the gameplay reveal will be shown exclusively to those who will be attending in person.

Whether Square Enix will be showing off footage from its narrative-centric, single player-focused campaign, or from the game’s co-op missions remains to be seen, but it’ll be good to have some actual footage of the game in action nonetheless.

Marvel’s Avengers is out on May 15, 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates.
