Metro Exodus Is A Whopping 53.5 GB On Xbox One

Just slightly bigger than your typical Fallout 76 patch.

The technical masterminds over at 4A Games always seem to develop some of the most cutting edge and beautiful looking visuals with their games. Both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light were some of the best looking games around at the time of their respective releases, and surely, Metro Exodus is looking like its going to follow in their footstepsExodus, however, is also a much, much larger game than its predecessors by way of scope and content. And you know what that means- clear up your hard drives.

As per the game’s official listing on the Microsoft storeMetro Exodus is going to require storage space of 53.45 GB on your Xbox One. That’s larger than the file size of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and about as large as the first two patches Bethesda put out for Fallout 76. It’s no Red Dead Redemption 2, though (thankfully).

Looking at the tech, size, and scope of the game, this doesn’t come as much of a surprise- that said, if you’re planning on playing the game, you should free up some space on your hard drive. Thankfully, the game’s already available for pre-loading (it has been for while now).

Metro Exodus launches on February 15 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the latter’s system requirements through here.
