4A Games’ Metro Exodus has been looking very sumptuous, from its attention to detail in the smaller things to the changing seasons. To help outline the best settings to run the game on PC, the developer has released a range of specifications. Minimum, Recommended, High, and Extreme settings are detailed. Check them out below.
The overall entry settings are fair, but anything that’s Recommended and above will require some strong hardware. If you want “High” graphical quality – which is filed under the Recommended requirements – at 1080p/60 FPS, you’ll need an Intel Core i7-4770K with 8 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 or RTX 1060 with 8 GB VRAM recommended.
The Extreme settings are fairly, well, extreme. It features “Extreme” graphics quality at 4K/60 FPS and requires an Intel Core i9-9900K with 16 GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 2080Ti with 11 GB of VRAM. Metro Exodus will also support ray traced global illumination on Nvidia’s RTX cards but more information will be offered on specific performance profiles at a later date. Metro Exodus releases on February 15th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
