The recent leak was accurate. Capcom has officially announced that Monster Hunter Rise is launching for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox One. It originally launched for the Nintendo Switch in March last year, before coming to PC earlier this year in January.
It will be coming to PlayStation and Xbox consoles on January 20, 2023, and will also be available via Game Pass on PC, console, and cloud. As per the game’s PlayStation Store page, the Standard Edition, which will include the base game and some additional in-game items, will retail for $39.99, while Deluxe Edition, which will include even more in-game bonuses, will be priced at $49.99. The expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, will arrive later in Spring.
On PS5 and Xbox Series X, the game will run at 4K and 60 FPS, while it will also feature support for 3D audio on all current-gen consoles. PS5 players can also look forward to implementation of the DualSense’s adaptive triggers for the game’s ranged and shielded weapons.
