Resident Evil 4 Remake Has Added New Achievements on Steam, Potentially Hinting at Imminent DLC

Previous leaks have claimed that Capcom intends to release a new DLC campaign focused on Ada Wong later this year.

Capcom’s remake of Resident Evil 4 has been one of the biggest highlights in a year that’s been full of them, and the survival horror title might be in line to receive additional content soon.

As spotted by @AestheticGamer1 on Twitter, Resident Evil 4 Remake recently added seven new Achievements on Steam. Though visible on the platform, the Achievements don’t yet have any titles or descriptions, implying that they’re tied to content that hasn’t yet been released.

Shortly after its launch, Resident Evil 4 added fan-favourite mode The Mercenaries as free DLC, and leaks have claimed that the mode will also be receiving more content down the line. In addition to that, the remake is also allegedly set to receive a full-fledged paid expansion in the form of Separate Ways, focused on Ada Wong.

It’s been claimed that the Separate Ways campaign will launch sometime later this year. Whether or not these new Achievements suggest that it could be announced soon remains to be seen.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC.
