Resident Evil Village, Far Cry 6, Forspoken, and More Will Support FidelityFX Super Resolution, AMD Confirms

AMD's supersampling tech has launched today, with an initial batch of seven games supporting it, and more confirmed to add support down the line.

AMD’s supersampling tech FidelityFX Super Resolution (or FSR) has launched today, and to go along with that, the company has confirmed details on the initial batch of games that are supporting it at launch, and more that will be adding support in the near future. The details fall in line with a recent leak.

Currently, a total of seven games support FSR- The Riftbreaker, Anno 1800, Terminator: Resistance, Kingshunt, 22 Racing Series, Godfall, and Evil Genius 2: World Domination. Meanwhile, FSR support is also coming to a number of other games in the future, including heavyweights such as Resident Evil Village, Far Cry 6, Forspoken, DOTA 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, and many more. Farming Simulator 22, Swordsman Remake, Necromunda: Hired Gun, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, Asterigos, Edge of Eternity, and Myst are also going to add support.

There’s no word yet on when FSR support will be added to these games, but hopefully, it shouldn’t be too long. Meanwhile, Microsoft recently said they’re “excited by the potential” of FSR, and more details on support for Xbox Series X/S will be shared “soon.” Read more on that through here.
