Starfield is Fully Playable from Start to Finish, Launch Date Not Set in Stone – Rumor

The sci-fi RPG is officially releasing in the first half of 2023 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, with a standalone showcase planned.

After the relatively successful Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct, all eyes are now on Starfield. The Bethesda Game Studios title releases in the first half of 2023 and will have separate showcase at some point. Rumors claim it’s delayed past that point and will launch in the Summer.

Responding to a March 23rd release date on retailer site, CD Keys, Windows Central’s Jez Corden revealed  that the game’s launch date isn’t set in stone. “Trusted sources” speaking on condition of anonymity also said that the game is playable fully from start to finish. Since the game is “truly vast, spanning multiple star systems,” its polishing effort “is similarly gargantuan in nature.”

Bethesda’s Latin American Instagram account claimed recently that the release date would be announced “very soon.” With Microsoft and Xbox committing to more frequent updates, the showcase may happen in the coming months. Time will tell, so stay tuned for more details.

Starfield is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC and launches day one for Game Pass.
