Terraria Now Supports Steam Workshop

Resource Packs, entire worlds and much more can be downloaded from the Workshop.

Ten years later and with more than 35 million copies sold, Re-Logic’s Terraria has finally received Steam Workshop support. Update 1.4.2 recently added support for the same, allowing players to download Resource Packs to change the game’s presentation, Texture Packs for changing sprites and Music Packs for custom soundtracks. Fans can even implement their own custom dialogue and translations with Language Packs.

A few examples have been provided by the game’s artists and Re-Logic will have a “Developer’s Choice” section where it periodically chooses the best Resource Packs and Worlds. And yes, you can even share and download entire worlds, providing everything from starter bases to unique biomes for each Pylon (or even a massive golf course). This is all in addition to TModLoader which now has built-in support for the game and provides access to hundreds of quality mods.

Terraria is out now for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android and PC. It also recently launched for Google Stadia. Despite selling so many copies and shipping the “final” update in Journey’s End, Re-Logic has promised a “litany of updates across the board” for 2021. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
