The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Features 60 FPS Performance Mode on Xbox Series X and PS5

Performance Mode targets 60 FPS at a reduced resolution, but there's also Quality Mode, offering a higher resolution at 30 FPS.

Gun Interactive’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is out next month, providing fans of Friday the 13th: The Game some fresh asymmetrical multiplayer horror. It’s releasing on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC, but what can all platforms expect with the resolution and frame rate?

Speaking to MP1st, the publisher confirmed that PS5 and Xbox Series X players could choose Performance and Quality Modes. The former targets 60 FPS at a reduced resolution, while the latter favors a higher resolution but targets 30 FPS. As for Xbox Series X, it runs in Quality Mode with no other options.

Gun Interactive confirmed that previous-gen consoles would also have a single graphical mode but didn’t mention the resolution or frame rate. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is out on August 18th for consoles and PC. It also launches on day one for Game Pass.
