Asymmetrical multiplayer horror title The Texas Chain Saw Massacre releases on August 18th for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will also be available on Game Pass for consoles and PC. A technical test is planned for May 25th, and a new bloody gameplay trailer is available. Check it out below.

Based on the 1974 horror film, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre involves playing a member of the Slaughter family, like the iconic Leatherface with his chainsaw, or those looking to survive. Like Gun Interactive’s Friday the 13th: The Game, survivors must stealth and gather tools to escape. On the other hand, the Slaughter family has to stop them, often through violent means.

There are several different locations to play in, as the developer worked to capture the authenticity of the films and the period. Stay tuned for more details on the technical test in the coming weeks.
