Deus Ex: Human Revolution delayed in Japan

Square Enix has delayed Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s release date in Japan to October, just two days before it could get released. Square reportedly uncovered an area in the game which has visual expressions forbidden by the Japanese rating board (via Adriasang).

Square Enix did not elaborate on what kind of offensive content it was, only that it had to be fixed for the game to be released in Japan.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution was, just like last week, was the highest selling game this week. It was also the highest selling game on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this week.

According to reports last week, Human Revolution sold 650,000 units in its opening week. We, personally, think the game deserves all the success it is getting. Have look at our Xbox 360 and PS3 reviews here, to get two different takes on the game by two different authors.

A new DLC for the game was also recently revealed.
