DOOM Eternal launched earlier this year, delivering more ripping and tearing action to players, but there’s still plenty more to come, with two campaign DLCs confirmed for the first person shooter. The first of these was teased while back, and recently during QuakeCon at home, Bethesda officially announced it.
Called The Ancient Gods, the first of the game’s two campaign expansions will see players travelling to completely new realms and taking on all-new demons. Bethesda announced it with a short teaser trailer, which doesn’t really show an awful lot- thankfully, though, a full trailer will be coming later in the month. It will be premiered at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 27, at 2 PM Eastern Time. In the meantime, you can check out its teaser below.
DOOM Eternal is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia, while the Nintendo Switch version’s development is also apparently making good progress. Meanwhile, PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the shooter were also recently confirmed.
