Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance Coming to Xbox Game Pass on Console, Cloud, and PC at Launch

Game Pass gets another win.

Another day, another massive win for Xbox Game Pass, the absolute best deal in gaming. This time, the win comes in the form of the announcement that Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance, the four-player co-op action game based in Icewind Dale, will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on console, cloud, and PC on launch day.

Dungeon and Dragons: Dark Alliance is the latest of several games to release on Game Pass on launch day, joining titles like Outriders, Knockout City, and the Sony-developed MLB: The Show 21. Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance seems like a particularly good fit for Game Pass given its co-op nature and the popularity of Dungeons and Dragons as an IP. Dark Alliance will also be available for purchase on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam for $39.99 for the standard edition or $59.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition.

It’s a good time to be a Dungeons and Dragons fan playing video games. Baldur’s Gate 3 is in development at Larian, though it will need some time to get out of early access, and the spiritual successor to Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance, the classic Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance was recently re-released on modern platforms, with PC port coming later this year. Black Isle Studios has also confirmed that a re-release of its sequel, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2, is “on the table.”
