Focus Entertainment Will Announce a New Game at Gamescom Opening Night Live

Focus Entertainment has previously confirmed it has unannounced titles in the works at Dontnod Entertainment and Deck13.

Gamescom Opening Night Live kicks off later today, and it’s promising to be a packed show, with over 30 games set to take the stage over the course of roughly two hours. Several have been confirmed to be in that list over the last few days, and another one has now joined that list.

Publisher Focus Entertainment recently took to Twitter and confirmed that it will be showcasing games at the event, which, interestingly, will also include a new unannounced title. The company describes it as a “super top secret project”, and its tweet seems to suggest the game’s title will have two words, but that’s about the extent of what we can glean right now.

Focus Entertainment currently has a new action RPG in development with Dontnod Entertainment, while The Surge developer Deck13 also has new title in the works. Either of those two might be the subject of this tease- then again, it could be something else entirely.

As mentioned earlier, a number of major showings have been confirmed for Gamescom Opening Night Live, which kicks off at 11 AM PT later today. These include the likes of The Callisto Protocol, Sonic Frontiers, Gotham Knights, Hogwarts Legacy, Tales from the Borderlandsand more. Meanwhile, rumours have also suggested we might get reveals for Dead Island 2 and new titles form Quantic Dream and Kojima Productions.
