Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Receives Launch Trailer, Out Today on PC

The co-op shooter launches on Steam, the Microsoft Store and Game Pass. The Xbox Series X/S version still doesn't have a release date.

Fatshark’s pre-order beta for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is now offline, and the “full” game releases worldwide today on PC. A new trailer is available to mark the occasion and sees the Rejects employed by the Imperium to eliminate the forces of Chaos on the Hive City of Tertium. Check it out below.

There are four classes to choose from – the Zealot, Veteran, Ogryn and Psyker. Each has different playstyles, weapons and subclasses which can help in combat, whether it’s the Sharpshooter’s extra headshot damage or the Skullbreaker’s increased melee damage. You’ll work your way up through the ranks, earning better gear.

Crafting is also available, albeit in limited form. At launch, players can perform Consecration to upgrade their gear to the next tier, adding random blessing or perk. Regular missions yield Plasteel, while Diamante is awarded at higher difficulties. The remaining crafting features will release throughout December.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is also coming to Xbox Series X/S. However, a release date still hasn’t been announced.
