Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Gets A New Patch, Which Does Absolutely Nothing

It does make the game more stable, though, so it's a win in my book.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate launched in a far better, more polished, and more stable state than the previous year’s Assassin’s Creed Unity, which had a disastrous launch, plagued with all manner of gameplay and graphical bugs and glitches which entirely undermined the experience.

Given this, it’s actually fairly reasonable that updates and patches for this game won’t have much to do- I mean, the base code that they are working with to begin with is fairly stable, so it’s not like they have to patch things up, right? And almost as if in a celebratory vindication of that very idea, Ubisoft have released a brand new update [1.31] for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, which does absolutely nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Not a single thing.

Even the patch notes for this one are sad, just citing ‘improved performance and stability.’ This is basically one of those stability updates that PlayStation and Nintendo systems get so much!

Stability! We’re really never getting away from that, are we?
