Mafia 3 (5)

Mafia 3 is a little over a week away from release, and 2K Games are doing their best to sell us on the next entry in the sprawling open world crime saga. This new trailer for the game, for example, invites us to ‘own the battlefield,’ and shows us how Lincoln Clay, the protagonist of the game, can do just that.

Clay is apparently a veteran of the Vietnam War, and he can use that experience, as well as the weapons that he has at his disposal, to fend off any threats that he may face from criminals and mobsters. The trailer shows us exactly how Clay achieves that, hinting at the kind of action sequences that players can probably expect from the game when it finally launches early next month.

Mafia 3 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 7. You can check out the new trailer for the game below
