Metal Gear Solid 4 trophy patch live

Posted By | On 08th, Aug. 2012

Konami has announced the release of a free DLC pack for Metal Gear Solid 4, the fourth installment in the award-winning Metal Gear Solid series.

The pack adds Trophy support to MGS4 for the first time, given the game was released before PlayStation 3 trophies were mandatory.

Upon logging into the PSN, the DLC will be downloaded automatically, giving the player 34 trophies to chart their progress with.

The trophies also reward the discovery of easter eggs, such as using a drum cam to knock an enemy down and so on. It also gives players the opportunity to revisit Metal Gear Solid 4 and perhaps experience it in a different way to before.

Metal Gear Solid 4 charts the final chapter of Solid Snake’s journey, taking him around the globe in pursuit of his nemesis Liquid Ocelot.
