Front Mission Evolved
Front Mission 3 (pretty much the only Front Mission game to get a European release) was one of the premier titles of my gaming youth. Being as precocious as I was as a youngster, its mature storyline and deep, strategic gameplay made it a stand out title of that generation. Plus it dealt with giant robots, which is always a plus. Fast forward to our current generation and Double Helix games see fit to ruin the franchise by turning it into an third person shooter title; effectively removing all the strategy that made the game so deep in favour of a shallow shooting engine.
