10 Cruel Pranks In Video Games History

There are some real jokers out there and people who love to mess with others in games, some of them even work for our favorite developers.

World of Warcraft: Corrupted Blood Plague:

This was a cruel little prank that was implemented on purpose when Blizzard released this boss. You may be unfamiliar with this little trick that was played when WoW had a new boss introduced to the game. It had an attack that poisoned anyone who happened to be unlucky enough to be standing the creature. What Blizzard also did was make this poisoning spell contagious.

Well, what ended up happening was this plague got out and went through the game killing everyone that came in contact with another infected player. The funny thing about this is that it also infected NPC’s that could not die, but they sure helped spread the plague around just like anyone else.
