Games have been blending zombies with a World War 2 setting for a long time now, but Projekt Z is taking that premise and doing some other interesting stuff as well. Set on an island with a secret German facility, the game seems to be combining tactical shooting and adrenaline action. Meanwhile, there’s crafting systems for weapons, ammo, and consumables, there’s choice and consequence mechanics, there’s an ever-growing hub location. Best of all, it’s going to be free-to-play. Of course, that means finding the right balance with monetization is going to be crucial, but if developer 314 Arts can get that right, this one might be worth keeping an eye on.
