9. STALKER: Shadow Of Chernobyl
This entire game is eerie, While it certainly had its problems, the idea was pretty solid. It’s an interesting subject to explore and scavenge a dead zone. The problem is that it’s hardly a dead zone. When a player runs into a monster called a Snork, it’s certainly a frightening experience. A Snork is a Stalker, like your character. Or rather, was a Stalker like you. After a while, with too much exposure to radiation and all the unknown, paranormal forces in this world stalkers can mutate into Snorks. They are fast, durable mean and travel in groups. If you run into a Snork there is always going to be another one around.
