We have all at one point in time wanted to get a certain gaming accessory, be it light guns or Guitar Hero accessories.  Unfortunately it is a truly a disappointing moment when we found out later how useless a particular accessory was. Over the years we have realized that only a few accessories are actually usable. Most of them are quite frankly a waste of plastic and money. For this purpose we have compiled a list of video games accessories that should not have existed.

Guns in video games are always a good thing and we’ve all had a good time with first person shooter, but the Wii Zapper is just a bad peripheral in terms of usage. It really doesn’t do anything, besides just look cool. The player can easily play a first person game using the standard Wii controller. The zapper bought nothing new to the table and gamers found it extremely hard to aim and shoot enemies.
