Nintendo ROB had very limited functionality. ROB was basically attached to your NES  as it received instructions from the TV in the form of light flashes. It had the capability to stack blocks and wave his arms around, but apart from that he was quite useless. I’m not even sure why Nintendo came up with this idea in the first place.
